Winters on it way and Jessica and Rebekah are ready for it
April is now upon us and March just seemed to diappear on me hence, there is no newsletter for that month.
We would like to extend our sympathies to everyone of our Christhurch customers and their families who have suffered through the devasting earthquakes.
A little bit of what we have been up to over the last month or so:-
Central District Field Days were once again very busy and then on the Sunday we were invited to a Country Garden Fete at the Rangitikei Farmstay, it was way up in the hill country just out of Marton and what wonderful views we had from our sites and a great time.
The Taranakai Multi Ethnic Festival was a week ago and unfortunately it was wet, but we had an inside stand so did not have to brave the elements. (any show in New Plymouth is a good excuse for me as I can catch up with my grandchildren down there at the same time).
This is the dreaded time of the year for me, Stocktaking and this was a massive task this time as every single item had to individually counted, many thanks to Donna and Melody who spent the whole day here yesterday, Donna was here till after 11pm helping with the stocktake, Donna took on the task of counting every label in the place (this was no mean feat as there are thousands of them), Melody did all the zips, domes and lace there is metres of it, then we had to start on the fabric etc, boy oh boy I did not realize there was so much here till now, the rest of weekend is going to be counting buttons etc and measuring more fabric.
We have now registered Kruizey Kidz as a company but there will not be any noticeable changes on the front end of the business.
Kruizey Kidz is being split into two sections each with their own indiviual labels from the 1st of the April there will also be the Kruizey Baby Label with its new logo, the Overalls will stay as our Kidz label. Both sections will run under the same website at the moment.
Our website has been approved as a safe site for any credit card transactions, as we do not hold any credit card details anywhere on our system, after your order is received and entered into our accounting system and your card has been charged all details are automatically removed, so we are now have the right to display the certificate confirming our site is safe which we have included below or you all to see.
Our Gum Boots have not come into stock yet as we have not been able to get the new seasons stock, the warehouse is in the Red Zone in Christchurch so hopefully they are going to be allowed in there soon.
We have decided to run our competition over two months from now onwards. (Just follow the blue link above to register for the competition.
Competition for April and May is a gift voucher to the value of $60.00.

It is only going to be available in Black and has the Kiwi and Fern on the front of it.
We are also bringing out the Polar Fleece Jackets this year with the full zips so you will have the choice of either the Jumper Style or the Jacket.
Some of the designs on the waterproof gear is changing also we are going to be doing a contrasting pocket on the smaller sizes so you will be able to choose from either the plain or the contrast, so far the contrast pocket have been popular with some of the mums who have seen them at the markets.
